¤ Juliet Cuthbert suffered a hamstring injury on the second leg of the 4 x 100 relay final (with Jamaica in the lead) and
   Jamaica could not finish the race with Merlene Ottey on the anchor leg. Therefore a supposed gold medal was lost!!!
