Grand Prix II Meetings The Grand Prix II Meetings are the third and lowest ranked events in the IAAF Grand Prix Series. Payments and points given for victories at these events are lower than at the Golden League and Grand Prix I Meetings. Featured on this page are Merlene Otteys top performances in Saint-Denis, Sevilla, Hengelo, Linz, Sestriere, Rieti and Helsinki. Sevilla Sevilla in Spain was site of the 1999 World Championships and at the Grand Prix meeting in Sevilla Merlene Ottey has the stadium record over 100 metres with 10.78 seconds from 1990 (at that time the third fastest race in history). She also holds the 200 metre stadium record of 22.19 sec. (1991, 1992). |
